Fitness Success
With the start of every year, we tend to have new plans, new goals, and New Year’s resolutions. Well, it is now 2010, HAPPY NEW YEAR! We give ourselves goals and resolutions so we can have a plan for success. If we have a plan for success, why don’t we always feel the achievements of success? This is due to failure. Failure is the #1 reason why we don’t dream big. When we think we are going to fail or we are afraid to fail we stop planning towards our goals and eventually do fail. So, understanding that failure happens because we get side tracked from the original goal due to the fear of failing. No fear…no failure…success is accomplished. You can accomplish anything as long as you stick with it. Stick with it, reach your goals, and become successful.
“I've failed over and over and over again in my life and that is why I succeed.” Michael Jordan
“I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can't accept not trying.” Michael Jordan
A lot of times we give up becoming successful because we feel the goal at hand is too hard or we don’t care anymore. Michael Jordan admits his failures in basketball and life because he understands his failures and was truly determined to reach his goals. When you fail, that doesn’t mean you have to throw in the towel immediately and give up. Failure is another way of saying, let’s take a step back, reassess the goal at hand, and come up with a new way to attack and accomplish the goal to become successful. Don’t give up; stick with it!
