Creative Fitness Anywhere, Anytime
Being creative is the name of the game!
You don’t need equipment to workout! Exercises can be done without any type of equipment, health club membership, or infomercial gimmicks. Just be creative and move your own body against the resistance of gravity. Your body gives so much resistance that there is no need to even worry about buying a pair of dumbbells. There are hundreds of exercises that can be done from beginner to advance that can challenge you in so many ways that you wont think of picking up those dumbbells again.
Bodyweight exercises:
- Are cost effective – they cost nothing but the calories you burn
- Can be done anywhere – you can take bodyweight exercises anywhere and do them anytime (for example, if you are on a business trip and the hotel you are staying at does not have a gym, bodyweight exercises can be done in the comfort of your own hotel room)
- Are challenging – most bodyweight exercises are multi-movers, meaning using multiple muscle groups at one time; the more muscles involved in a movement, the more challanging the movement is to the body which develops better coordiantion and body awareness (neuromuscular conditioning)
Below are examples of bodyweight exercises from beginner push-ups to advance push-ups in progression.
